The Multipurpose Space
The aim for this project was to maximise the space and tie in the existing floor tiles. On the wishlist was :
- Ensuite / Powder room
- Bar
- Laundry
We managed to make complete use of the space and fit in all elements. The warmth from the recycled timber bench tops perfectly softens and compliments the contrast between black cabinets and white sublime tiles.

We had one room left in the house that hadn’t really been touched, it was the laundry - but also serviced the downstairs bathroom, and was the main thoroughfare for entertaining in the back yard. Troy and I came up with an idea for a functional laundry, that looked like a bar, and served as a vanity/kitchenette. Once we worked out an economical way to use what was already in the space, and make the most of the appliances, we left the rest to Troy; and are beyond stoked with the finished product.
